Determining the quality of the air in BOTI

 

   

 

More than a year ago, coordination and cooperation among all of the Ministry of Environment / Emergency environmental project management configuration II and the Ministry of Oil / Oil Training Institute / Baghdad / Safety and Environment Division / Environment Unit to set up the machine of determining the quality of the air at the Institute. It is a station Contains a set of devices for measuring the different elements and exists within a special Caravan as well as containing Meteorological Station measuring wind speed wind direction relative humidity temperature the amount of rain.

The following is an internal and private device to measure the different elements:

  •   Gas Filter Correlations Co Analyzer

Work began for this device is based on taking the sample of air and giving senses ray inside the CO component only by absorbing CO molecule Note that there are filters to delete any interference of other elements and the degree of precision of this device is very high and based on the principle (absorption spectrum analysis).

 

 

 

 

  •  A special device to measure the component (SO2) sulfur dioxide

Work for this device is based on the sensor. Sensing is defined as the process that is based on the principle of the SO2 molecule absorbs a specific wavelength senses and then sending it as invisible radiation, and is based on the principle of (emission spectrum analysis)

 

  •  A special device to measure the (NOX) Nitrogen oxides

The working principle of this device is based on the fluorescence and the difference between it and the component of the measuring device (SO2) is that this device is sending radiation in perspective

 

  •  A special device to measure ozone (O3(

The working principle of this device is based on the fluorescence and purely physical ways in the layers of the earth

 

  • A special device to measure hydrocarbons (PID(

This device measuring both G gasoline and T toluene, and ex Ethel  Zaaliyn, the carcinogenic elements and is very dangerous to human health and this device enters for the first time in Iraq the working principle of this device is Kazobromatk + type detector (PHOTON ALONAZATION DETECTIV)

The detector (PID) is better than (FID) flame detector because it does not need to flammable gas inside the station.

  •  High volume sampler device

A device attached to the station installed externally and modeling of the lingering minutes ranging sizes less than 10 microns Alkavimitri manner which is as follows
